Modernist table lamp in the style of / attributed to Mathieu Matégot dating from the 1950s.
Made of solid lacquered metal with a cream/beige lacquered "rigitule" (perforated metal) shade to create a soft, diffused light. The base is made of black metal.
The design is reminiscent of a flower, very decorative and elegant. Rarely available for sale!
Fully rewired and functional, bulb included, original plug and switch.
